FIRSTCARRENT rental-conditions

Parties:
Firstcarent as a vehicle lessor, hereinafter referred to as: lessor
Renter, hereinafter referred to: renter

Requirements to renter:
Minimum age: 25 years (also applies to second driver)
Driving license: min. 3 years

Deposit
Deposit for all luxury vehicles : CHF 2000.- (cash or credit card).

Price per additional kilometer (if not unlimited km in the contract) : CHF 2.50

Booking:
When the desired vehicle model is not available another rental car in the same category is reserved for the renter. A reservation does not constitute a contract between lessor and rentor. The lessor shall be entitled at its discretion to refuse to rent to people without giving any reason and to dispense with the provision of a rental vehicle.

Contract exhibition:
For the contract issue, the following documents must be provided by the renter:
- Valid driver's license
- Valid ID
In agreement exhibition, the vehicle is inspected for damage and noted any existing damages in the rental agreement.

Vehicle acquisition:
Vehicles with a full tank, run in a reliable and clean condition at the depot
or assumed at the agreed place of delivery and must either be returned at the agreed handover or at the rental location.

 

Vehicle acquisition outside the opening times
The vehicle can be returned to the night manager

Vehicle is returned outside the opening times
The renter can bring the vehicle to the depot

Vehicle Delivery Service:
The vehicle delivery to the Zürich Airport, and hotels in the region Zürich is free.
For deliveries to the airport Basel, Geneva, Lugano, Bern-Belp, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Sion, Grenchen etc. will a fee be  charged.

Rates: CHF 3.- per km from Zürich City

Cancellation charge
For reserved vehicles that are not picked up , we allow ourselves a daily rate including 600 km and insurance to strain .
Extension of the rental period
An extension of the lease is possible with the consent of the lessor prior to the termination of the current tenancy. The landlord can refuse to renew without giving reasons.

insurance
For all vehicles, there is a liability, collision, theft and accident insurance, as well as a ZURICH HELPLINE breakdown service. The renter is fully liable for any legal disadvantages (recourse of insurance, negligence , etc.).

Trips abroad
The renter can drive to the following countries without any restrictions: Belgium , Denmark, Germany , England, Finland , France, Ireland , Italy, Luxembourg , Netherlands, Norway , Portugal, Austria , Spain and Sweden. Trips to other EU countries must be reported. In vehicle theft increased the deductible applies

Accidents / loss events
The renter has to communicate after an accident, theft or other damage incidents to the police immediately and the lessor and obtain a police report. This also applies to self-inflicted injuries without the involvement of third parties. In case of theft , loss or misappropriation of the vehicle , the vehicle key , a report on the details of the theft and the police report to the Lessor shall be submitted within 24 hours after the event . The renter authorizes the Lessor to inspect all relevant files at all official agencies . For not reported claims the renter is liable even subsequently.

Repair / Roadside
If the renteris forced to leave during the rental period at its own expense and without any fault repair the vehicle ( breakdown, defect etc.) are reimbursed him the cost upon presentation of receipts and detailed Werstatt or towing bills .

Following actions are not insured and not allowed:
- Trips outside Europe
- Driving without required license
- Learning journeys
- towing
- Participation in motor sport events
- Damage caused by intoxication of more than 0.5 % o blood alcohol content
- Under the influence of anesthetic agents or drugs
- Damage caused by speeding and negligent behavior
- Damage caused by acts of war and unrest of any kind

To the renter it is forbidden to use the vehicle:
- To pull another vehicle to tow or otherwise move , unless it is a designated car rental vehicle at
- Trips outside of public roads and off-road - in an overloaded state, ie with a number of persons or load in excess of the

values ​​specified in the vehicle license
- For the carriage of flammable , explosive, poisonous or dangerous substances
- For committing customs offenses and other criminal offenses .
- For rental liability
- The Lessor shall not be liable for inconvenience and loss of any kind
- The renter is also liable for transfer to third parties and any passengers.
- If the vehicle is returned outside the opening times, the renter is liable to the Lessor the vehicle has officially accepted !
- The renter is liable for defects caused to the rental vehicle itself . (Eg overloading , clutch, tires, etc. )
- The renter is fully responsible for all damages arising out of negligence , such as failures to check oil , water and tire pressure.
- The renter is liable for all damage caused by filling of wrong fuel emerging.
- Selects the renter another breakdown service as ZURICH HELPLINE or ACS or TCS , he is liable for the cost !
- The renter is responsible with his credit card for all expenses which are incurred by this lease and allows the landlord to charge them directly.

Payment
The following payment methods are accepted by the lessor:
- Cash CHF , EUR
- EC / Maestro
- Credit cards: MasterCard / Visa / American Express
- PostFinance Card

Termination of contract
The lease ends immediately and without express notice on the part of the lessor:
- If the renter against the landlord is guilty of misrepresentation .
- In the event of default or declaration of bankruptcy .
- In any case of termination of the lease the tenant to immediate return of the vehicle is required , in addition, the lessor has the right to take the vehicle , even if it is on private property .
- The costs are borne by the lessor. Comparison of rotational compensation for any inconvenience we have to charge our expense as follows : - Park buses Fri 30.00 - debt per step CHF 200.00 - default interest of 5% from the rental
- Special cleaning at cost

Special equipment
For security reasons, the lessor can install a crash box , a voyage data recorder or a GPS for individual vehicles.

Additional Equipment
Child Seats : The law requires that children under 12 years of age or less than 1:50 m , need a child seat in the car. With early booking, we ask you for a fee like child seats , GPS units , ski racks , etc. available.
Winter equipment : vehicles are equipped for the cold season with winter tires and ice scrapers . Snow chains are charged according to use. These are only guaranteed to explicit order.

Airport Transfer
(Transport to or from the airport) for a fee , travelers will be picked up from airports Zürich, Basel, Geneva, Lugano, Sion, Altenrhein, Bern-Belp, Grenchen and taken back.

Rates: CHF 2.- from City of Zürich

All vehicles are non-smoking !

Refuel
Fuel is charged to the renter We offer our refueling service at normal conditions. VAT included
Jurisdiction is Zürich
Applicable law of Switzerland is subject to change
